Christopher received his Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Denver in 2013 with a specialization in youth with behavior problems and a certificate in social work with Latinos. Christopher is fluent in Spanish and his counseling experience includes family and individual crisis services, grief counseling, behavioral health counseling, trauma work, and treating problematic sexual behaviors in children. Christopher uses various treatment modalities that studies have shown to be effective—often referred to as “evidence-based practices”—including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing. Christopher is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and has met the education and experience requirements to qualify as a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) in the state of Washington.

Christopher recibió su Maestría de Trabajo Social (MSW) de la Universidad de Denver en 2013 con una especialización en jóvenes con problemas de comportamiento y con un certificado en trabajo social con Latinos/as. Christopher es fluente en español y sus experiencias de consejería incluyen servicios de crisis para familias e individuales, consejería para el duelo, consejería para los comportamientos, trauma, y problemas de comportamientos sexuales de menores. Christopher usa varios tratamientos que los investigaciones han demostrado que son efectivos—referidos como “practicas basadas en evidencia”—que incluye terapia cognitiva conductual, terapia de aceptación y cometido, y entrevista motivacional. Christopher es un trabajador social clínico independiente licenciado (LICSW) y ha cumplido los requisitos de educación y experiencia que el estado de Washington se considera especialista de salud mental de los niños (CMHS).
