Where Courage Meets Compassion Contact Us

Frequently asked questions

What insurance plans do you accept?

Providers at Cor Counseling & Wellness are independent business owners, so accepted insurance plans will vary by therapist. When you contact us to inquire about counseling services, let us know your insurance information and we will connect you with a therapist who can bill that specific insurance plan. If a therapist is not able to take your insurance, they can provide superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits. If you are unsure whether or not your plan allows you to use out-of-network benefits you can call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card or visit the website of your insurance plan. At this time we are not accepting new clients with Medicaid or Medicare plans.

Who is responsible for understanding benefits?

Although we attempt to collect information regarding a client’s insurance benefits, it is important that you check with your insurance company to verify your responsibility for payment including deductibles, copayment, or coinsurance. You can do this by calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and asking what you will need to pay for mental health counseling with an outpatient provider. Payment for your counseling session is collected at the time of service.

Do you have a sliding scale fee?

We do not provide services on a sliding scale. In some situations, a therapist may offer a reduced rate for cash payment for services.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, checks, debit, credit cards, and HSA cards for payment.  All payments are due at the time of services.
