Dedicated to your health and wellness.

Katrina Knizek, MA, LMHCA candidate
As a counselor, my job is not to give you direction or tell you how to live your life – it is to help you uncover your own answers to the questions life provides. Your experience and story is unlike any other, and your counseling journey will be as unique as you are; I am here to walk with you on the path. In addition to evidence-based practices, I offer a mindfulness practice to become aware of your mind, body, spirit and to integrate all the pieces so that you can see your holistic, entire self.
Katrina completed her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Gonzaga University. Her experience includes working with diverse orientations, genders, and relationship styles. She is currently completing her sex therapy certification and is working toward a doctoral degree in human sexuality to better serve her clients and community with reproductive, sexual, relational, individual, and societal concerns. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) with over 6 years teaching experience, and when requested will include elements of that tradition into session.
Katrina has experience working with adults and couples to alleviate anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, disordered eating, and relationship conflict. She is passionate about working with transgender and gender non-binary clients, as well as many individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community – offering a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space to explore one’s entire identity can create opportunity for holistic healing. Additionally, she is a kink-aware professional with experience counseling those in the lifestyle.
