*Not Accepting new clients
— Life. As we all know, it routinely presents us with challenges and unexpected surprises. And sometimes, as a result of those challenges, we may often find ourselves merely surviving, not thriving. My goal is to provide a safe, authentic, non-judgmental space where you can be heard, understood, and valued. A place where we walk together on your unique path as you define your journey. Together, we will work to help you define your values, strengths, and goals, identify and address barriers in your life, and help you develop skills and insights which can help you move forward in the direction of your choosing. It would be an honor if you were to consider allowing me the privilege of accompanying you on your way to finding a thriving life.
I received my master's degree in Applied Psychology from Eastern Washington University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. Having worked in community mental health for 15 years of my counseling career, I have experience working with diverse client concerns, including depression, mania, anxiety, personality disorder symptoms, thought disorder symptoms, psychosis, anger, emotion regulation, relationship difficulties, and more. Therapy approaches I commonly utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also utilize Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques.
