— “As an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, my philosophy is grounded in the science of nursing. I provide holistic treatment that addresses each person’s unique physical, mental, social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Mental health treatment is a process that requires knowledge and collaboration. I firmly believe in involving my clients in decision-making about their care. I am excited to be in a practice where I can collaborate with other treatment providers to provide the best care possible.”

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (Psych ARNP-BC). I graduated from EWU in 2008 with my Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology. Shortly after I completed that program, I was accepted into an accelerated nursing program to receive another Master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in psychiatry. I graduated from the Masters of Nursing program at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland, OR in 2012. As a psychiatric ARNP, I have practiced in various community mental health settings in Portland, OR, and Spokane, WA. I have spent most of my time caring for uninsured and under-served populations, where I have worked collaboratively with therapists, primary care providers, and specialists to help manage the psychiatric treatment of medically complex patients.

Michael provides medication management for adult clients ages 18+ and is able to accept many insurance plans. Call to find out more information or to schedule an appointment.
