Garrett earned his bachelor's degree in 2015 and his master's in 2022 from Eastern Washington University. Garrett has continually pursued higher education with a heart toward serving his community and helping others understand the dynamics that exist in healthy relationships. Garrett is EMDR trained and draws from various theories such as Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Systems Theories Perspectives. Additionally, for those seeking a Christian perspective in counseling, Garrett integrates faith-based values with evidence-based mental health treatment.
Garrett has been married for 13 years and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughter. He is also interested in learning about the mind/body connection through long-distance running.
