— I am a child mental health specialist with a passion for helping children who experience difficulties expressing emotions and exhibiting challenging behaviors. My goal is to provide learning ideas and new ways to channel your child’s feelings and energy, which will help them identify their inner thoughts and replace negative behaviors with positive, helpful thoughts and behaviors. My coaching aims to teach you and your child how to respond to situations more effectively. I work collaboratively with you and your child to clarify your goals and find a solution that works for your family.

I earned my Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling from Whitworth University and my Bachelors of Science in Sociology from Eastern Washington University. As a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist, I have successfully met the national standards set by the counseling profession. I have extensive experience working with families and children in various in-home and school-based mental health settings. My approach to counseling is genuine, caring, accepting, and non-judgmental. I consider myself fortunate to work in a profession that I truly love, and feel blessed to be invited into a family’s life and travel on a journey with them through healing, development, and self-empowerment.

I have an integrative approach that utilizes a variety of therapies according to the client’s individual needs. I serve children, adolescents, and families.
