*Not accepting new clients
— “ Whatever the struggle, I have found that heart-to-heart human connection is an essential part of growth and healing. My passion is to help individuals address issues that are causing problems so that they can move toward personal freedom and improved relationships. I strive to create an environment of acceptance while also encouraging action toward client-centered values. My areas of treatment specialty are posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and working through transitional life stages that require adjustment. When requested, I can integrate values of personal faith as an element of treatment.
I received my graduate degree in Applied Psychology with an emphasis on Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University. I have training and experience in several evidence-based therapies for treating mental health conditions, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy common elements (CETA and CBT), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). I am a licensed mental health counselor with the State of Washington and a certified child mental health specialist.
